Blair Atholl, Perthshire, 30 May 2010 at 18:23 hours. I have been meaning to walk this Munro in the Beinn a' Ghlo range near Blair Atholl for some time. I had walked up two others nearby a few years ago, but left this one out. I used a mountain bike out from the small car park near Loch Moraig, hid it in the heather a few kilometres on, then walked up the glen between Braigh Coire Chruinn-bhalgain and Airgiod Bheinn. Despite the height of Carn nan Gabhar (a lofty 1121 metres), because of the long walk in and gradual rise in height, it was not particularly taxing. The cycle ride back was awesome!
