Braemar, 15 June 2010 at 04:40 hours. I had been wanting to overnight on a mountain for some time - I had planned to walk the Grey Corries and Ben Nevis over three days, but weather put paid to that - and finally decided on Lochnagar. The evening was cloudy so no sunset, but waking early the next morning from a fairly comfortable night in a bivvy bag, the sky was a bit clearer. I walked up the nearby Meikle Pap and waited for the first light to paint the top of the corrie in an orange glow. Super! Camera details: 10-20mm, 10.0 sec at f / 22
