Melrose, 15 February 2010 at 10:20 hours. I didn't go in; this photograph was taken through the railings, but the size and grandeur of the place nevertheless hit home. On one of the gravestones near the railings, we found the name of the coachman to Walter Scott. The heart of Robert the Bruce is also reputed to be buried inside. Perthshire, 30 January 2010 at 15:32 hours. A lovely eveing in the Ochil hills in January. I took my four year old son along Corb Glen but found ourselves in deep shade. A quick haul on to the hills and we were back in the late afternoon sun. A pleasant walk was rounded off by my son rolling, sliding and laughing all the way back down to the path.
