Golden Eagle Southern Cairngorms, 22 August 2010 at 06:35 hours. First of all, this photograph has been manipulated - I did see and photograph a golden eagle the day before but I only had my 70-200mm and 17-40mm lenses with me so the eagle looks rather small. The mountain is Devil's Point at sunrise. I tried a simple bit of photo-manipulation to try to show off the eagle in its majestic surroundings.
